Position: Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Architect

Location: 100% Remote

Need a very Sr seasoned IDM resource with around 15+ Yrs experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Informatica Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Informatica , Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) , and Collibra to design, develop, and implement robust data integration, governance, and management solutions. This role requires an individual who can take ownership of the data architecture strategy, ensure seamless integration, and maintain data quality across platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Data Architecture and Design : Design and implement scalable and efficient data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter , IDMC (Informatica Data Management Cloud) , and other Informatica tools.
• IDMC Management : Implement and manage data management workflows within the Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform. Work on cloud data migration and ensure smooth deployment across cloud environments.
• Collibra Integration : Develop and implement data governance processes using Collibra for data quality, lineage, and metadata management. Establish governance workflows and ensure compliance with data policies.
• ETL Development , Data Governance and Cloud Data Architecture.
• Collaboration & Leadership : Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs. Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
• Performance Tuning & Optimization : Monitor and optimize performance of ETL processes, ensuring minimal downtime and high data throughput.
• Documentation & Best Practices : Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, and workflow designs. Establish and follow best practices for ETL processes and data management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Informatica PowerCenter : Proven expertise in designing and implementing ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter .
• Informatica Cloud (IDMC) : Hands-on experience with Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) , specifically for cloud data integration, management, and migration.
• Collibra : Strong experience with Collibra for data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Data Architecture : Deep understanding of data architecture principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Cloud Platforms : Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration of Informatica products with cloud-based solutions.
• Data Governance & Compliance : Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices in ensuring data quality, privacy, and security.
• Programming & Scripting : Strong skills in SQL, scripting (Python, Shell), and familiarity with database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
• Leadership & Communication : Ability to lead projects, work cross-functionally with business and technical teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Informatica and/or Collibra .
• Experience in agile project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with additional data management or cloud tools is a plus (e.g., Apache Kafka, Hadoop, Spark).
